We have been using the fields for about a month now (when the weather cooperates)for teams to practice, and the response has been great! The fields play very close to what a natural surface plays like- and much better than the other turf fields in our area. Our club is so grateful to have these fields and the training opportunities they allow our players to experience in the winter months. We are now able to train outdoors, away from the indoor gyms and walled facilities, and truly prepare our players for the upcoming spring season- something our club has been lacking over the past years! We are still waiting for the lights to become functional so we can take advantage of the lack of daylight in these shortened winter days, but the fields are being utilized at every opportunity the weather and daylight allows.
We truly believe these new turf fields and facilities at Long Lake Ranch are the best thing that has happened to our club in a number of years, and are key to take our club and players to the next level. We will be able to benefit so many more children in our community.
